I've been in the optical industry for over 25 years, all of which I have spent here, at Rims & Goggles. I love helping people look and feel their best.  I draw from a deep well of knowledge & past experience to help people see their best as well.

Outside of work I am a dedicated wife and mother. I enjoy spending time with my family playing and making a lot of memories.

GUIDO J.

As an Optician for over thirty years, I wear two hats at Rims & Goggles - one hat to style customers and another in the lab. I especially enjoy designing and making custom shapes to fit my clients' rimless frames.

Outside of work I'm an avid cyclist.

My greatest joys outside of work are calligraphy, comedy, plants and sunshine.

You’ll also find me in the lab, meticulously crafting prescription lenses with precision and care. Beyond that, I take great pleasure in thoughtfully repairing sentimental frames.

In my personal time, I indulge in cooking, dancing, adventurous pursuits, and getting creative alongside my partner and family—not to mention showering my beloved dog with affection.

Outside of the workplace, I love to spend my time with my wonderful  8 year old son Jr. We spend our days visiting different restaurants and exploring different beaches all around the Bay Area and further.

As a licensed optician with over 20 years in the optical industry, I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of my customer’s eyeglass shopping experience. With extensive knowledge in frame styling and a vast array of skills of eyeglass lens materials and designs, I’m able to share my experience by helping others. I enjoy cutting and installing lenses and personally delivering them to all my clients making them look good and see even better. As a former athlete I can also provide a proper and detailed recommendation based on specific sport and use requirement. 

In my spare time I enjoy taking hikes with my wife, two daughters and my dog Sammy. We also enjoy traveling and exploring the world.

While I am not an optician myself, I personally handle each distinctive and fantastic frame that comes into the shop. I mostly work with the computers, so you may not meet me face to face. But any time you call the Mill Valley location, I will likely be the one picking up the phone and doing all that I can to answer your questions. I learn a little more about the optical world every day and I greatly appreciate the patience of all of the wonderful opticians I work with!

When I'm not at work, you can find me watching movies or with my head in a book. I also love to hike and cook with my partner.
